Lavi' are a insectiod companion species in Elyxium. These creatures have three main stages of life.

Lavae, which the Lavi'  are vulnerable and squishy. They are usually always hungry and love affection. This is the most important stage of life as the Lavi' tend to grow a strong bond with its carer. Once matured enough, they encase themselves in a cocoon for a few months before emerging as the matured Lavi'. Matured Lavi' keep their hunger, and feast on plants and fruits. Lavi' always have glowing buds in their tails, like fireflies. The colour can not change, but can be any colour excluding black. Grown Lavi are very stoic and have strong fighting spirits. They are built for battle, and often clash for dominance in the wild.  
In the wild, Lavi' travel in packs, usually of a dominant male and his females. Packs are called a treason. 

Lavi' are very intelligent but can not talk. They are more a friend than a pet, and like to be respected and treated like so. Lavi' may leave their carer if they feel dishonored or disrespected. However, if they have a strong bond with their carer they will protect them with their life. 

Appearance 

If you intend to make one yourself, please follow these rules so they are authentic. 
You can colour them however you'd like!
Their eyes must be black.
Lavi' must follow the same anatomy as above but you may add the following; horns and spikes, glowing markings, sparkles, fangs, weight, accessories, fur (feel free to ask if it is not listed). 
Lavi' should not posses anything magical including hovering symbols, or unnatural traits like - weird tails, wings, drastically altered anatomy etc.
