The Beaked Devil, or Project Marigold (PM) was one of the first Aphex prototypes created. PM was not designed for battle, like his later kin, but a self sustaining cash grab to fund existing and future projects for the government. PM was designed to not need food or water, but can simply survive off light, just like later versions of Aphex. PM was primarily created to harvest gold deposits, which could be used as an never ending supply. (This method was replicated on a smaller scale with different minerals later on in the development of Aphex. Any Aphex with a mineral mutation is said to be related to/or be a desendant of the Beaked Devil). PM was far too large to keep on land so he was hidden underwater most of his life. 

Not much was known about what happened during the downfall, especially surrounding PM as he was kept as a secret to anyone not apart of the project. But as time passed on, forgotten and left under the sea, time eroded his chains and he was released once more...

Size: Mountain
Power: Can create gems from its body and onto things it touches. It can sing a song to send those who hear it into an eternal slumber.
